KATE DARDEN | PRINCIPAL

With over 20 years of experience in construction and design, Kate combines vision and expertise to craft interiors that are as functional as they are beautiful. Known for her collaborative spirit, Kate works seamlessly with architects, builders, and makers to bring every project to life. She leads with enthusiasm, confidence, and an unwavering commitment to creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

Kate likes floating on her back in the sea, hosting dressy dinner parties and the color black.

She dislikes bad manners, fluorescent lighting and the feeling of being carsick.

MAYA POTH | OFFICE MANAGER

Maya’s strategic mindset and extensive management experience make her the glue that holds our team together. Often the first point of contact, Maya ensures every interaction is smooth and welcoming from the start. As a former KDID client herself, she brings invaluable insight from the homeowner’s perspective, helping to shape every project with care and understanding.

Maya likes 90's hiphop, perfectly ripe fruit, every animal that crosses her path and reality tv.

EMILY DIMINO | PROCUREMENT AND PROJECT COORDINATOR

Emily, a graduate of Oregon State University’s Interior Design program, is a cornerstone of the KDID team. As Project Coordinator, she’s deeply involved in every stage of the process from sourcing materials and tracking orders to managing timelines with precision. Known for her adaptability and attention to detail, Emily ensures every project runs seamlessly, handling even last-minute changes with efficiency and care.

Emily likes a craft cocktail, paddle boarding on the river and Trader Joe's dried mango.

She dislikes the misuse of car blinkers, ignored unread text messages and the smell of unwashed dishes.

SIDNEY SORENSEN | DESIGN ASSISTANT

With a background in retail and years of experience as a freelance photoshoot stylist and home stager, Sidney brings a natural talent for transforming spaces and supporting the design process from concept to completion. Her creative eye and strong organizational skills ensure every project runs seamlessly. Known for her impeccable taste and collaborative spirit, Sidney is the ultimate team player bringing beauty, balance and a touch of flair to every space she helps create.
